SOLD - over list- in ONE day!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Review of Rooney, Cronin + Valentine, Calgary estate agents To be completely frank, as House sellers, we wondered if we actually needed a realtor to sell our house in the hot Calgary market. We put our toes in the water on our own for 2 weeks with a professionally made sign on the lawn and my husband’s phone number in 400 point type (that’s big!) We entertained a virtual flood of lookers and didn’t land a deal. Enter Donna Rooney. It took Donna an hour to convince us we should entrust her with selling our house, review all the comps, agree on a listing price and sign the documents. Then it took 4 days from start-to-finish for her to get a photographer in to take pics, have the house officially measured, write the listing, put it on MLS and realtor.ca, and get a SOLD sign on the listing just 24 hours after it went live. Did we mention it sold for $100,000 over list! Seriously! This was due entirely to Donna Rooney’s expert diplomacy in talking competing buyers through their options and coming up with one that worked! A new family with two little kids get to move into our great house and we get to go paddleboarding.

Donna Rooney and her team have helped us multiple times over the last 8 years and we have always been tremendously happy with the efficiency and professionalism of her team. Most recently they helped us with the purchase of a new home, which was very exciting for our family. However, more importantly they helped us with the sale of our previous home. After the the 2013 flood, out lives went into a temporary state of flux while we tried to sort out insurance, a renovation, and where we were going to live while our home was inhabitable. We had made the decision to move to a new home but were uncertain about the value we would attract for our current home and how the listing would play out. As we approached completion of the renovation and got ready to list, Donna came to us with a clear plan of exactly what she thought we should do.
